Border Security Alliance Applauds Governor Ducey’s Executive Order To Fill Gaps inBorder Wall

Phoenix, AZ— On Friday, August 12, 2022, Governor Ducey issued an executive order to fill gaps in the border wall in Yuma, Arizona. The Border Security Alliance (BSA) applauds Governor Ducey’s efforts to step up and take action where the Biden Administration has dragged its feet.

Construction on the border wall gap began Friday morning utilizing double-stacked containers reinforced with wire at the top. By closing this gap, Governor Ducey has shown his commitment to border security, law enforcement, and the safety of our community.

“All we are seeing out of Washington is inaction when it comes to the crisis at the border. Common sense solutions can instantly start to secure our border and support our Border Patrol and law enforcement officers. I commend the Governor for making a decision and jumping into action to protect our community,” said Jobe Dickinson, President of BSA. ###
